Helping Hill Country Families and Communities

Severe flooding has swept through the Texas Hill Country, bringing heartbreaking devastation to families, businesses, and entire communities. The damage to homes and livelihoods is staggering, but even more painful is the tragic loss of life. Our hearts are with those who are grieving, and we continue to hold everyone affected in our thoughts and prayers.

In response to this crisis, Guaranty Bank & Trust is making corporate donations to two key relief efforts:

“In moments like this, we are reminded of the purpose behind community banking,” said Ty Abston, Chairman and CEO of Guaranty Bank & Trust. “We’re proud to partner with organizations that are deeply rooted in the Hill Country and are making a real difference in people’s lives. Our hope is that these contributions provide not only relief, but a reminder that no one is facing this alone.”

Guaranty Bank & Trust remains committed to its mission of Growing Strong Communities, and will continue to explore ways to support long-term recovery and resilience efforts across the region.

"The destruction across the Hill Country is heartbreaking, and our hearts are with the families and communities facing unimaginable loss,” said Ryan Coaxum, Senior Vice President of Community Development and External Affairs at Guaranty Bank & Trust. “As a community bank, we don’t just serve our communities — we are a part of them. In times like these, we show up.”

For those searching to make a difference, the Independent Bankers Association of Texas has vetted the following local organizations, making a direct impact if you would like to contribute to the efforts during this time.
