Money Market FAQ's

Our Premier Money Market account requires a minimum deposit of $2,500 or more to open. If your account balance falls below $2,500.00 on any day in the statement cycle, your account will be subject to a $15.00 service charge for that statement cycle.

Money market accounts offered by FDIC-insured banks are insured up to $250,000 per depositor, per bank.

  • Excess debit charge of $3.00 per item in excess of six (6) per statement cycle for checks, debit card transactions, in-person transfers, and telephone transfers completed by an employee.
  • Paper statements are available for $5 per statement cycle.
  • If your account balance falls below $2,500.00 on any day in the statement cycle, your account will be subject to a $15.00 service charge for that statement cycle.

Federal regulations limit the number of certain types of withdrawals and transfers from a money market account to six per month. There is and excess debit charge of $3.00 per item in excess of six (6) per statement cycle for checks, debit card transactions, in-person transfers, and telephone transfers completed by an employee.
